How the process works
Designed to minimise workload for staff while gathering the information required for a high-quality EP report.
- Initial enquiry and agreement of commissioning.
- Sharing background information securely in advance.
- Educational psychology assessment, usually in school, combining observation, discussion, pupil views and assessment tasks. Remote elements can be used where appropriate and agreed.
- Analysis and report writing with clear recommendations aligned to EHCP needs.
- Report returned securely to school/LA for use in the EHCP process.
